TBN Solent Takes Off!

We are excited to announce a fantastic opening morning for our new Solent Business Club. Taking place on the 15th of April at the luxury Solent Hotel and Spa in Fareham, we had a titanic first event turnout of around 80 local businesses from across Hampshire! The success of the morning has highlighted the willingness of the Hampshire business community to engage and build new relationships and it was great to meet so many new faces.

We are pleased to say that the Solent Hotel provided an excellent location in which to network. Welcomed into the hotel’s elegant conference room, business people had the opportunity to enjoy friendly conversations and exchange business cards in a relaxed and productive environment. Eager members were then treated to a delicious and nutritious breakfast, taking their seats to begin a series of networking activities.

Throughout the morning many members expressed their enthusiasm, appreciating the importance of the new opportunity that TBN Solent has been able to provide. They discussed the benefits of these types of events, how they have proved very successful in Dorset and will help everyone to generate new business leads, contacts, and clients across the wider area.

The first of our speakers, Ian Skinner, Managing Director at The Diverse Cleaning Company South Ltd, discussed his work at Blenheim Palace, The National Portrait Gallery, amongst other high profile clients. It was interesting to hear that 70% of his client’s buildings were non-compliant before his expert team stepped in to ensure they met compliance regulations.

Next to speak was the charismatic Tony Beales, Director of the Dorset based catering and events management company Beales Gourmet and The Italian Villa. He promoted the Corporate Event Open Day to be hosted at The Italian Villa in May and gave his testimony to the rewarding nature of the TBN. This was followed by the topic of Tony’s fascinating entrepreneurial journey from Bournemouth College to the court of the Bahrain Royal Family, right up to the formation of his multi-award winning venue and catering company.

Lastly, Jacqui Frampton, owner of the TBN, gave an impassioned speech thanking everyone for attending. Jacqui comments:

“It was great to see so many new faces at the launch of our Solent Business Club. I know this has been, and will continue to be, an excellent opportunity to help the thriving Hampshire business community. It will also promote cooperation between Hampshire and Dorset businesses, helping to expand our joint networks and develop new and exciting opportunities.’’

Our next events are TBN Bournemouth on Thursday 5th May and the next TBN Solent is scheduled for Friday 20th May we look forward to seeing, even more, new members and visitors in attendance!
