TBN March – Spring Sunshine, Mad March Hares & Logistics

Despite a relatively chilly morning, the spring sunshine was out in full force and so were the members of the Boardroom Network as over 75 members and visitors gathered at the Hallmark Hotel for our March meeting. This included an amazing 21 new visitors proving that with the arrival of spring comes new opportunities a plenty.

The room was truly bustling with the sheer amount of people in attendance, with the bright sunshine seemingly reflecting on everyone’s high spirits producing an atmosphere which was simply radiant as familiar faces and new ones put the world to rights.

Once everyone had taken their places, our seasoned host, Jay Rachet, set this month’s proceedings underway. Table discussions were lively and vivacious with topics including staff being the number one asset of any accompany and the importance of looking after staff to ensure the best working environment which equals in better results. This also led onto discussions on how crucial customer experience is and detailed talks about business relationships concluding that the most fruitful relationship is a happy one!

We then welcomed our first “2 minute spotlight” to the stage, Adrian Page, from Inkwell. Adrian proved to be the Boardroom Networks very own Mad March Hare performing a stand-up comedy routine to rival the best in the business. However, in amongst his uproarious witticisms Adrian also demonstrated why he is the South’s top ink expert and how his services can benefit businesses.

Following on from more of the regular table swaps, next up to speak as our second “2 minute spotlight” was Caroline Swaine of InXpress. Caroline Swaine was proud to announce that InXpress are now working alongside logistic giants DHL as their biggest account. Alongside this Caroline Swaine also divulged into the wide array of logistics and postal services offered by InXpress.

This month’s event proved to be another great success and all who attended left with a “spring” in their step (pardon the pun!). It is great to see the continued support of our network which continues to grow with familiar faces always present alongside lots of new visitors every event! Here’s hoping that the sun will continue to shine on our events- now if we can just get rid of this chill!

Thanks again to all who joined us, and we look forward to seeing you all again at our April event, onThursday 2nd April.
