about tbn

Making business networking something you can enjoy and want to do.

Our story

Welcome to Total Boardroom Network, formerly known as The Boardroom Network, which was set up by Jacqui Frampton and launched in October 2013.

Our networking events are for Business Owners, Professionals, Senior Managers, Decision-makers, and Entrepreneurs within the local business community.  Since its launch ten years ago, TBN has experienced consistent growth and now has over 140 members. You can see our directory of members here.

Liz Hutchings, CEO of Total Guide To Ltd. became a member of TBN during lockdown in 2020 and instantly fell in love with its collaborative and supportive community.  When Jacqui announced her readiness to start easing in retirement, Liz was delighted at the opportunity to acquire the network in January 2024.

I became a member of TBN when we launched our Poole site (now Dorset) in 2020, and it was, and still is, the most valuable and genuine business group we have been a part of in our 13 years of having Total Guide to.

What I loved the most about it, as well as being instantly welcomed and made to feel comfortable and valued, was the structure of the table swaps. We are all busy people and there is nothing more soul destroying than visiting a networking event where you get stuck talking to one person for two hours.  The TBN table swaps mean you are guaranteed to meet a minimum of 16 people at just one meeting.  Many of these are now friends as well as clients and suppliers!

The team behind Total Boardroom Network are incredibly passionate about continuing to build a strong business community and that means collaboration, connection, and continuous learning.

Our mission has always been to empower businesses to succeed and individuals to thrive.  With the expansion of TBN into Swindon, there's no better time to become a valued member of this dynamic and growing community.

Join us in shaping the future of business in the region.

COLLABORATION

What makes us different?

If you bring commitment, consistency and a willingness to share and give, in time everything else will follow.

Joining networking events might seem daunting, regardless of whether you're an extrovert or an introvert.  We understand the challenges, but the personal and professional rewards are worth it.  That's why we're here to help you overcome any hurdles.

Our approach is to provide a friendly and structured environment for every meeting.  With a resident Host leading the way to manage the content and timings, supported by experienced Table Ambassadors, we ensure you feel welcomed.  They will make introductions and guide you through each aspect of the event, making your networking experience enjoyable and beneficial.

CONNECTION

How it all
works

May we invite you to join us?

Why?

Because we believe that even in this digital age there is simply no better way to develop deep and meaningful business relationships.  Online networking can be convenient and efficient, but it just can’t fully replace the benefits of face-to-face networking.

Meeting someone in person can be more engaging and enjoyable than online and makes it easier to establish trust and rapport.  When you break away from the screen you interact in a more natural and organic way, allowing a more personal connection to be made.

We don’t operate a Pay as You Go model – in our experience successful networking requires a degree of commitment that a membership model brings.

We encourage and work with our members by offering events that are accessible, hospitable and well attended by both members and visitors alike. Networking is always most successful if it is something you can enjoy and want to do, rather than feel obligated to do.

We hold monthly Online events which offer an extended network outside the region, but primarily focus on In Person events across Dorset, Hampshire & Wiltshire.
