Making the most of your Business Networking Time
Business networking can be hit and miss, and joining the wrong network can be a costly mistake in time, money and commitment.
Our aim at The Boardroom Network (TBN) is to ensure you make the most of your time and offer our members and visitors every opportunity to make quality contacts, meet like-minded, professionals and decision-makers representing entrepreneurial start-ups through to well established and successful companies.
TBN itself was established in 2013 – after 7 years of successful Business Breakfast networking at various locations across the Region events in March 2020 necessitated a change in our Business model.
Throughout March 2020 – February 2022 we built a new Online format and were able to successfully transfer elements of our structure and agenda to Zoom. These events are well attended, fast paced and content packed they are held every alternate Thursday morning (see events listing).
In addition and to compliment and function alongside our Online Events we have launched a new programme of regular face to face events. These are a mixture of Brunch, Lunch & social gatherings to be held at various and diverse Venues across the Region.
The TBN format which is structured but friendly is a mixture of short presentations and personal introductions over planned tables and table swaps. We find this encourages relaxed but meaningful conversations and also provides an environment in which to build and develop a strong and highly valuable network.
What makes The Boardroom Network different?
Our business-like meetings are precision-timed to an agenda and hosted by one of our Team of “Anchors” who always inject and encourage an element of humour and fun.
Business events need not be “stuffy” and our organised and planned table swaps ensure we make the most of our time together.
Membership is limited to the professional sectors so you mix with like-minded people for contacts, collaboration, and support.
Back Office Team
It takes a dedicated and committed Team to encourage visitors and consistent high attendances from our members – this effort all adds value to our events.
Friendly and flexible, a warm welcome is extended from the moment you meet our reception team. Table ambassadors are sensitive to new attendees and everyone ensures that anyone new to the concept of Business Networking is put at ease.
We veto multi-level marketing businesses and our seating plans ensure you sit with the people you want to meet.
